Sheng Yu Steel Co., Ltd. was recommended to take part in the contest of 2011 excellent Japanese enterprises in Kaohsiung and after a serial of severe appraisal, Sheng Yu Steel and other four companies have been selected as winners of this competition. Mayor Chen of Kaohsiung Municipal Government, the sponsor of this activity, awarded the winners at Hotel Kingdom, Kaohsiung on November 17, 2011 at 18:30PM. On behalf of Sheng Yu Steel, Chairman Omori accepted the testimonial and the trophy from Mayor Chen in the ceremony.
Mayor Chen, in her address, cited the winners' long-run and influential contribution to upgrade local industrial level, create more jobs and develop Kaohsiung's integrative economy. In addition, Mayor Chen also anticipated to see more intensive ties between two nations in the aspects of economy, culture and education and thus, to create ensuing commercial opportunities.The criteria for the contest include enterprise's seniority in Kaohsiung, import/export performance, technical transfer, ratio of return sales, pollution improvement, protection of labor's welfare and enthusiasm in social service, etc. To gain this special honor symbolizes the recognition on Sheng Yu Steel's management philosophy and results.
